Mr. Muhammad Hafizuddin Al-Helmy Bin Nouxman

Mr. Hafizuddin received his bachelor degree with honours in Physics with Electronics from Universiti Malaysia Sabah in 2009. For his BSc dissertation, he investigates the resonance frequency of Sundatang, one of the vintage musical instruments at Sabah. By this frequency, a standard of producing Sundatang has been introduced. His love in physics made him further his studies at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, where he then gets his MSc in Applied Physics. His master degree is focusing on high energy physics frontier, where he developed a simple muon detector to detect distribution ratio of muon and frequency of muon hitting on the earth surface. In 2014, he further his studies in the doctorate programme at Universiti Malaya. He was sent to a research centre in Tsukuba, Japan as a collaboration work to assist in building a Central Drift Detector, which is a subdetector from a Belle2 large scale detector to detect charged particles produced from collisions inside the SuperKEKB accelerator. He is well versed in charged particles detector physics and construction. He also able to do simulation using Garfield++ and Geant4, and statistical analysis by using the ROOT program.
